David Weinstein Appointed ABS Vice President, Strategic Development

(Houston, TX) David Weinstein has been appointed Vice President, Strategic Development for ABS within the classification society’s corporate headquarters in Houston. Weinstein will be responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions and major internal strategic initiatives.

Weinstein joins ABS after more than 25 years as a strategy consultant in the transportation, energy and manufacturing sectors. Prior to ABS, he was a partner with Norbridge, a firm specializing in transportation and logistics. Earlier in his career, he was a partner and global leader of Accenture’s transportation strategy practice.

Weinstein earned a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering and a Master of Science in Ocean Systems Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
