MSC 98 Brief

IMO’s Maritime Safety Committee’s 98^th session met from June 7 to 16, 2017. This MSC 98 Brief highlights new and revised regulations adopted, including a complete revision of the stability and subdivision requirements in SOLAS Chapter II-1, a new OSV Chemical Code and revisions to the 2009 MODU Code. Work progressed on autonomous ships and cyber risk is also presented.
