Riyadh MOU - CIC inspection on enclosed space entry

The Riyadh Memorandum of Understanding (representing Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE) has announced a concentrated inspection campaign on crew familiarization for enclosed space entry that will run from September 1, 2017 to November 30, 2017. Port State Control Officers will use the <<questionnaire and instructions>> to establish that crew members are familiar with the relevant equipment and have received training to allow them to identify and understand the hazards associated with enclosed space entry.
