Vice President of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE)
Josh LaVire is Vice President of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) for ABS. He is responsible for directing the company-wide HSQE Management System program. Previously, LaVire served as Vice President of Regional Operations in Europe.
LaVire joined ABS in 2002, as a Surveyor and has worked in China, Singapore, Korea, and the U.S. His experience spans the breadth of ABS service sectors including new construction, offshore, vendor, project management, and existing vessel surveys. He supervised shipyards in China and Singapore and has held leadership roles in Korea and the U.S. before being promoted to Regional Vice President.
LaVire served in the U.S. Navy as a Submarine Sonar Technician and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Marine Engineering Technology.
