UK Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) Update

The UK recently issued the Marine Notice MIN 669 (M+F) Reporting Emissions Data into the UK MRV Regime which details how the UK scheme for monitoring, reporting and verifying (MRV) carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions will be implemented. Similar to EU MRV requirements, this regulation applies to all ships over 5,000 gross tonnes (regardless of Flag State or country of registration of owners), transporting cargo and/or passengers for commercial purposes to and from UK ports, between UK ports or within UK ports
